Problems Galore
Building the elevator definitely tested my patience. Things began to go awry when I discovered that following the instructions caused a misplacement of the horn angle. Zenith replaced the ruined part, but this error in the instructions added at least 10 hours to the project. Other mistakes were either the result of vague instructions or simply my screw up. Before it was completed, I probably assembled/disassembled the elevator about 6 times!
Leading Edges
The only way I could manage the leading edge skins was by making these clips to hold the skins in their approximate positions for assembly.
