Most people recommend a 4 foot by 12 foot table for building an airplane. I had plenty of time to think about this while I waited for my kit, and I decided to build a pretty good one, and build it in such a way as after the airplane project, I could turn it into two four foot by six foot tables, which would be very useful to have around the shop.
